How do I play Battenberg Software games?
Battenberg Software games are released as on the XBox 360 under the category of "Indie Games" (indie being short for indepenedent). To play them you'll need an XBox 360 with a connection to XBox live (the free package will do, although you'll need the gold package to play online games). They are available from a number of places on the dashboard - one way is via the games tab at the top of the screen, into "Game Marketplace" then "Game Type" then "Indie Games". Alternatively, you can browse and buy Indie Games from the XBox Site.
What are Indie Games?
XBox 360 Indie Games are a great way for prospective game developers to reach a wider audience with their software, and a great way for gamers to get hold of highly playable games at a very low price. While Indie Games may sometimes lack the latest cutting edge graphics, sound and sheer scale of their modern commercial counterparts, at a fraction of the price and with (at least in my opinion) just as much playability, they're well worth it. And with the try-before-you-buy free demos for all Indie Games, gamers can't go wrong!
